What is supported living?

Supported living sites provide a safe and secure location for people with learning disabilities to live independently, whilst accessing support to live in their own homes. Support and care is provided around the clock – and clients are supported to access services and activities within their local communities. Support with day-to-day living is also provided.

All supported living placements are secured via referral by the Local Authority to ensure that safe and suitable placements are provided. Private supported living placements are not available.
